Abandoned World War II ruins

In the past, there were many military places that functioned as a type of a bunker which is a shelter, a place of safety from danger, especially from the enemy. In the 1920s, military places became common during World War 1 for secrecy as well as for protection. These places became common during World War 2 for secrecy as well as for protection. However, a bunker function would become a popular thing during the Cold War.

Fascinating Abandoned WWII bunkers

The site claims to be an abandoned Cold War bunker, found accidentally by construction workers looking for scrap metal near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. So this claustrophobic, dark place is a real place, presumably abandoned. It’s being used as a tourist site, where a handful of hardy explorers can die in an inescapable tomb if necessary. Now that’s adventurism.
